At Buds Bar, nestled within the luxurious La Playa Hotel in Carmel by the Sea, we are seeking a talented Bartender to elevate our guests’ bar experience to new heights. Our ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of spirits, wines, and artisanal ingredients, combined with a passion for hospitality that shines through in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Crafting Exquisite Beverages: Prepare and serve an array of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, always aiming to exceed expectations.
Curating Guest Experiences: Delight guests with personalized recommendations, immaculate service, and a warm, welcoming demeanor that leaves a lasting impression.
Maintaining Bar Excellence: Keep the bar immaculate, well-stocked, and organized, ensuring a seamless flow of service that reflects our commitment to quality.
Delivering Seamless Transactions: Handle guest payments with accuracy and professionalism, embodying our dedication to service excellence at every touchpoint.
Upholding Compliance and Safety Standards: Adhere to all regulations regarding alcohol service, safety protocols, and hotel policies to create a secure and enjoyable environment for all.
Requirements:

Prior experience in bartending, preferably in a high-end or high-volume setting
Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, and wine pairings
Exceptional communication skills and a knack for building rapport with guests
Impeccable attention to detail and organizational prowess
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
California Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
