Position Overview:
As a server at El Salvadoreño Pupuseria, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service, guiding guests through our menu, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. We value passion, teamwork, and a love for great food!
- Greet and seat customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, answer questions about the menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and with attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
- Process payments and handle cash register transactions with accuracy.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold our standards for customer service and restaurant cleanliness.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous server experience preferred, but we are also open to training motivated individuals.
- Passion for food, specifically Salvadoran cuisine, and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (if applicable).
- Bilingual
