STAGECRAFT PART-TIME PROFESSOR
Hartnell is currently is seeking to build a pool of instructors for future part-time teaching assignments.
Examples of Duties
The Theatre Workshop courses offer an introduction to technical theatre and the creation of scenic elements. It covers design, painting, set and prop construction, stage management, lighting, sound techniques, and career opportunities. The course includes lectures, reading, projects, and practical experience.
Supplemental Information
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelors degree AND two years of professional experience* OR
An associate degree AND six years of professional experience*.
*The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment in theatrical, film, or video production.

All coursework must be from a regionally accredited college or university. Note: Transcripts for degrees earned outside the U.S. must be accompanied by an evaluation from an approved NACES service verifying that the degree is equivalent to the U.S. degree.
