Harvest & Sanitation Technician

- $18 – $20 an hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage all trim equipment with a focus on safety, ensuring tools and machinery are functional at all times; start up equipment at the beginning of each shift and follow proper shut down procedures at the end of each shift; make adjustments to equipment as necessary to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Monitor quality and measure accurately to ensure optimal production level
- Works closely with Cultivation personnel to manage workflow and scheduling
- Weighs and properly stores finished product
- Accurately completes all necessary data entry and paperwork
- Completes daily production reports
- May participate in harvests, trimming, cloning and other duties as assigned to maintain an efficient workflow through-out the facility
- May assists in other operations of the grow, to include but not limited to set-up, cleaning of equipment,
- Maintains a respectful and business-like work environment
- Maintains a serious, positive, and team-oriented approach to Security, reporting any security concerns or breaches immediately to designated person(s)
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software and the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Knowledge of basic office equipment should include: Internet and email, copy and fax machines, postage meter and telephone.
Other Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age due to CA requirements.

The Harvest Technician is responsible for harvesting plants, safely operating, and maintaining equipment, and processing waste pursuant to regulations and standard operating procedures. The Harvest Tech will assist in supplying consistent, high-quality marijuana while remaining fully consistent with Standard Operating Procedures.
