Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establishes and executes operational procedures for manufacturing and ancillary equipment maintenance and sanitation.
- Conducts quality checks, precisely measures, and weighs ingredients as per defined standards.
- Manages complete material runs, encompassing raw ingredient processing, equipment loading & unloading, and thorough cleaning.
- Facilitates the transportation of material between different rooms for manufacturing
- Organizes, fills, and labels CPG goods during the packaging process.
- Transports finished material for subsequent manufacturing stages.
- Tracks active processes meticulously to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintains a safe, organized, and sanitary manufacturing and packaging space throughout daily operations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory duties.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out production logs accurately and neatly.
Mathematical Skills: Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None.
Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
The Manufacturing technician will work together with other manufacturing team members to produce, package, label, and QC manufactured goods within Vertis. Techs will be responsible for maintaining the production work flow involving: the preparing of cannabis material for filling devices, operating production equipment, the packaging of products including labeling and QC, as well as post procedural duties such as inventory counts and cleaning and servicing of manufacturing spaces and equipment.
