Description
The Laundry Attendant Supervisor is responsible for demonstrating knowledge of proper handling procedures for all hotel linen. Supervises the work activities of laundry staff. Responsible for proper running of equipment and proper amounts of chemicals. Ensures that established infection control and universal precaution practices are followed in the Laundry Department as some tasks may involve exposure to blood/body fluids. Trains, monitors and evaluates laundry staff. Strictly adheres to policies and procedures regarding washing, drying, folding and storing linens. Observe guidelines for using and maintaining all pertinent equipment. Promptly report all safety hazards and maintenance requirements. Must be a team player and have a strong desire to work in a fast paced environment. Previous hotel housekeeping experience a plus. Flexible schedule required and must be available to work weekends & holidays. Previous experience is preferred.
