Title: Remote – Mathematics Instructor/Professor [ Optimization Modeling ]
Duration: Part-Time, Temporary

Minimum Technical Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or a closely related academic field, with a strong emphasis on Optimization Modeling.
- Must have a minimum of two years of DoD experience in an applied Mathematics position that includes Linear Programming.
- Must have two years of experience teaching Optimization Modeling using Excel Solver In person at the graduate degree level.
- Must have hands-on experience in developing Linear Programming Models as demonstrated by (1) a tour of duty in a DoD analysis organization; (2) publication in research sponsored or academically sanctioned technical report; or (3) in a refereed journal such as Phalanx or Operations Research/Management Science.
Period of Performance :
16 December 2024 through 28 March 2025. The contractor will need the period 16 December 2024 – 06 January 2025 to prepare for the delivery of the course; the first class meets Tuesday 07 January 2025. Classes will be delivered during a three hour class period on Tuesdays from 08:00 – 11:00 pacific time. Plus 2 hours/week of Office hours.
