GrowBIG Commercial Grower’s Supply is a 5-star rated farm & garden supply shop (store) located on the Highway 101 frontage road in south Salinas CA. Most of our clients are commercial farms in Monterey and San Benito Counties. Our location features a modernized office and warehouse space, clean facilities, and a full acre of inventory including cargo containers and other dry storage areas.
We are looking for a F/T warehouse manager and delivery driver (our employees do both, warehouse shipping & receiving plus local delivery runs).
This position requires your presence Mon-Fri from 10am to 4pm. There are longer shifts on occasion including some overtime opportunities. Work is onsite at the store, other than when handling deliveries or running errands. Mostly this position involves handling shipping and receiving, customer loading, and general maintenance and upkeep of the dry and open storage areas.
Positive, customer service attitude a must. Must have some experience shipping and receiving as well as forklift handling skills. CA Drivers License with no tickets, no accidents and no DUIs. Must be at least 21 years of age.
The primary delivery vehicle is a super duty pickup truck and big plus if you are experienced driving a 26′ box truck as well (regular class C license). Also must be physically capable to lift up to 50lbs.
