Overview
Industrial Pump Shop, Inc. is looking for a dependable, hard-working Pump Specialist Helper to join
our team. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career
working with pumps, motors, electrical systems, and plumbing-related equipment. We are looking
for someone who is motivated, mechanically inclined, and ready to work. Direct pump experience
is helpful, but not required. If you have a strong work ethic, good attitude, and transferable skills, we
are willing to train the right person. This position offers the chance to work alongside experienced
technicians, gain valuable real-world skills, and grow into a larger role over time.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of pumps and motors
· Help troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
· Assist with installation, removal, and service of pump systems
· Help with plumbing-related tasks connected to pump systems
· Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean, organized, and safe
· Follow company procedures and safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
· Interest in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing work
· Helpful experience in construction, automotive, maintenance, farming, warehouse work, or
general labor
· Ability to use basic hand tools and follow instructions
· Ability to read basic mechanical drawings is a plus
· Experience with centrifugal and vertical turbine pumps is a plus
· Valid driver’s license required
· CDL Class A or B is a plus
