Manufacturing General Labor

Key Areas of Responsibility:

The Manufacturing General Labor is responsible for helping to maintain the manufacturing facility in good operating conditions. Responsibilities include receiving materials, sorting raw fish for foreign material, washing and sanitizing equipment, transferring liquid materials, and maintaining the grounds in good condition. The General Labor must accurately record activity and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) relating to their job function.

· Receive fish and other raw materials for processing

· Sort raw fish for foreign materials

· Clean and sanitize bins, fish truck, hoses, pipes and other equipment

· Transfer liquid materials using hoses, clamps and valves

· Accurately fill out paperwork to track information for manufacturing

· Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as written to successfully execute tasks

· Operate forklift to move materials around facility

Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour DOE

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
