AmeriCorps in Action - Education Intervention
Ampact is currently seeking caring, committed individuals to serve as Reading Corps and Math Corps & Early Learning Corps tutors for the 2026–2027 school year in locations around Monterey County beginning this August.
No prior experience is necessary — just a willingness to learn, a commitment to students, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary school children who need academic support. We will provide you with the training and resources you need to be a successful tutor.
This is an AmeriCorps service opportunity, offering the chance to give back to your community while gaining valuable experience in education, service, and mentorship.
You must be 18 years old (or older), have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Legal Permanent Resident.
