Long Description
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $23.27 to $23.27. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Prepare, cook, and execute high-quality meals for banquets, conferences, and catered events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale functions.
Follow established recipes, production guidelines, and portion standards to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation.
Set up and organize workstations with necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment.
Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and prepare ingredients for cooking according to event requirements.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, slicers, mixers, and steamers safely and efficiently.
Use a variety of cooking techniques—such as baking, roasting, grilling, and sautéing—to prepare meats, vegetables, and other menu items.
Plate, garnish, and portion food attractively in accordance with established service and presentation standards.
Maintain food safety and sanitation by properly storing, labeling, and rotating ingredients and finished products.
Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized; follow all Aramark and local health department sanitation standards.
Assist with event setup and breakdown of buffet lines, food stations, and plated service areas as needed.
Communicate effectively with culinary and event teams to ensure smooth service flow and on-time meal delivery.
Adhere to all company safety, security, and food handling policies and procedures.
Demonstrate excellent customer service, professionalism, and a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.

Qualifications
Experience as a cook or in a related role required
Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
Must be able to acquire food safety certification
Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
