FRAMEWORK FIRST is a fast-growing Modular Home Builder looking for driven and goal-focused individuals to join our team, and this time we are seeking an experienced Craftsman!
This position is for experienced Craftsman/Carpenters/Framers who are confident & efficient in building. Must have prior experience with using framing tools and have general construction knowledge.
As a Craftsman, you can be expected to do various types of work in the factory. FRAMEWORK FIRST is looking for individuals who are skilled in over 50% of the following types of work listed below.
Must be proficient in the following types of work:
Exterior:
Rough framing of any of our ADU models with guidance from a Lead Craftsman & Trainer.
Installing house wrap, weatherproofing, doors and windows.
Exterior siding installation, trim, flashing.
Roofing (asphalt shingles).
Interior:
Hardwood flooring.
Cabinet installation.
Baseboard and casing around doors & windows.
Shelving, closet poll, etc.
Tile work (waterproofing, setting tile, grouting).
Interior door installation.
Vanity installation.
Finish work:
Door and cabinet hardware.
Appliances and installation.
Hooks, hangers, towel, bars, mirrors, etc.
A Craftsman must be efficient in performing tasks that they are knowledgeable in and quick to learn new skills that will be taught. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment that operates mostly indoors.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must follow all of FRAMEWORK FIRST’s core values.
Must consistently show up to work on time (or early).
Practices safety procedures consistently.
Must enjoy a busy, high-energy, and positive atmosphere.
Job Specifics:
Location: 1610 Moffett Street, Salinas, CA
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM
Full-Time: 40 Hour per Week
Pay Range: Starting at $28 per hour
In-Person: At the Framework First factory
Status: Looking for someone to start immediately.

Although the position name is Craftsman, this position is open to everyone.
