Golf Shop Staff – Pajaro Valley Golf Club
Location: Royal Oaks, CA
Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time (Weekends and Holidays Required)
Overview:
Pajaro Valley Golf Club is seeking friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Golf Shop Staff. This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional golf experience to our members and guests by providing excellent customer service, managing daily operations, and maintaining a welcoming shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist guests with tee times, merchandise purchases, and general inquiries
Answer phones and manage reservations using the club’s scheduling system
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for retail sales and check-ins
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and surrounding areas
Stock shelves and ensure merchandise displays are neat and current
Communicate effectively with the course marshal, starter, and other golf staff
Provide information on course conditions, policies, and promotions
Assist with tournament and event operations as needed
Qualifications:
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of golf or interest in the sport is a plus
Basic computer and cash handling skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be dependable and punctual
Available to work weekends and holidays
