Summary/objective:

Under the supervision of the Operations Accounting Manager, performs varied accounting and operations functions. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Accounting Department in all aspects. Day-to-day activities require the use of initiative and judgment, particularly when prioritizing work.

 

Essential functions: (to include supervisory responsibilities – if applicable)

· Coding of invoices/credits/adjustments

· Match invoices to support documentation such as but not limited to receiving and purchase orders

· Verify pricing extensions

· Daily distribution of all coded invoices for proper approval

· Data entry of 20-200 invoices weekly, including scanning

· Weekly processing of FLC-Harvest-Production invoices

· Issue Contract Labor Pos on an as-needed basis

· Bi-Weekly vendor ACH – W/T requests printing, matching and scanning

· Issue Contract Labor Purchase Orders on as needed basis

· Research and resolve invoice and/or statement discrepancies

· Consistent attendance is mandatory

· Other job duties as assigned

Additional functions:

· Special projects as requested by Operations Accounting Manager and Operations Accounting Vice President

· Maintain good vendor relationships

Required education and experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Working knowledge of standard office equipment, including personal computers, photocopier, fax machines, scanning equipment and software such as MS Outlook, MS Word and Excel

· Excellent customer service skills on the phone and in person

· Correct English usage, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary

· Organized team player who works well with a variety of people with minimal supervision

· Valid driver’s license and clean record

Preferred education and experience:

· Accounting clerk – invoice processing, data entry accuracy
