Midtown Surf Shop

Midtown Surf Shop is a fun retail store in Carmel-by-the-Sea that attracts both locals and tourists. We pride ourselves on providing a happy environment for all who work and shop in our stores and we’re looking for friendly, responsible team members who enjoy providing a great customer experiences.

Duties:
– Responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring store performance
– Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed
– Conduct sales transactions and handle cash register operations
– Maintain store appearance and ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed
– Assist in managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks
– Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting

Requirements:

– Friendly attitude is the most important trait we look for
– Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is required
– Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks
– Excellent organizational skills to maintain store operations
– Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities

Part-time and Full-time shifts are available
