Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler qualified Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children under 2, insuring that their physical needs are met, as well as fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play, as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of all infants and toddlers.
Duties
Foster a loving classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Keep exact records of daily naps, feedings and diaper changes as required by state licensing and the center
Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall goals of the preschool program.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Skills
Experience in childcare or preschool settings is essential.
Strong teamwork skills to maintain a smooth daily flow with coworkers.
Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning activities.
First aid certification is preferred for ensuring children’s safety.
Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with infants and toddlers.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.22 per hour
