Position: DOT Truck Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver, you’ll play a vital role in our operations. Supervised by the Fleet Administrator, your responsibilities include:
• Operating company-owned or leased trucks for deliveries, pickups, and product relocations.
• Following all traffic laws and company transportation procedures.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring proper maintenance of fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes.
• Reporting any mechanical issues encountered with vehicles.
• Accurately documenting trailer movements and verifying inventory loads.
• Collaborating with dock supervisors to coordinate inbound and outbound schedules.
• Securing trailers properly before disengaging and ensuring all doors are secured when leaving dock areas.
• Performing daily yard checks and maintaining an organized work environment.
• Assisting as a forklift driver or sorter when needed.
• Operating all equipment safely and efficiently at all times.
What You’ll Need
• Experience: 3+ years of commercial driving experience.
• License: Valid Class A CDL issued in your state of residence.
• Health: Must pass a DOT medical examination and complete all pre-employment and ongoing screenings.
• Age: Must be 25 years or older.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy manual tasks in various weather conditions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
