Job Description:
As a Mechanic Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced mechanics to learn the trade and develop hands-on skills in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will assist with diagnosing issues, replacing parts, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles operate efficiently. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience, expand technical knowledge, and complete the necessary training to become a certified mechanic.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems and vehicle issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Help repair or replace worn-out or damaged parts.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to evaluate vehicle performance.
Learn to follow safety protocols and proper repair techniques.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Communicate effectively with senior mechanics and customers.
Attend training sessions and workshops to further develop skills.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of automotive mechanics.
Strong interest in learning about vehicle repair and maintenance.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good physical condition and stamina, as the job can involve lifting heavy parts and working in varying conditions.
