Join the Impact Cadre program and prepare for careers in environmental conservation, food systems, logistics, sustainable agriculture, and community service while improving our land, food access, and community well-being.
Impact Cadre is a 280-hour paid ($19/hour) workforce program for young adults (Ages 18-24) that combines food bank support with environmental conservation to build job skills, promote sustainability, and strengthen our community.
Program activities include:
- Food Bank Support
- Sort and inspect food
- Pack food boxes and bags
- Organize and store food
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Follow food safety and workplace safety
- Environmental Conservation
- Sustainable agriculture
- Soil health & water conservation
- Climate-smart agriculture
- Weed & invasive species management
- Native & habitat restoration
- Community beautification
- Tree planting
Credentials and Training:
