Join the Impact Cadre program and prepare for careers in environmental conservation, food systems, logistics, sustainable agriculture, and community service while improving our land, food access, and community well-being.

Impact Cadre is a 280-hour paid ($19/hour) workforce program for young adults (Ages 18-24) that combines food bank support with environmental conservation to build job skills, promote sustainability, and strengthen our community.

Program activities include:

• Food Bank Support
  • Sort and inspect food
  • Pack food boxes and bags
  • Organize and store food
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Follow food safety and workplace safety
• Environmental Conservation
  • Sustainable agriculture
  • Soil health & water conservation
  • Climate-smart agriculture
  • Weed & invasive species management
  • Native & habitat restoration
  • Community beautification
  • Tree planting

Credentials and Training:

• OSHA 10
• Hazwoper
• Food Handler Certification
• Basic Environmental Safety
