Job Overview We are a family owned and operated Property Management company seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing work orders as assigned in a timely manner and preparing units for new tenants. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks while providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Person will also play a role in developing initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
· Advanced level Knowledge in Electrical OR Plumbing
· Ability to diagnose issues and plan out repair in a safe working environment
· Ability to work individually or in a team environment
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Ability to adapt to an ever changing work environment
· Ability to communicate with co-workers and tenants
· Work Order issues can include but not limited to:
· Change out electrical outlets and fixtures
· Change out toilet and evaluating angle stop
· Diagnose and repair issues with various household appliances
· Repair or replace faucets, change stem valve
· Ability to describe work performed & track parts used
· Drywall repair, tape, texture, paint,
Experience
· Proven experience in a maintenance role, with skills in electrical systems, Plumbing and general repairs.
· Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members.
· Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication within the team.
