Job Description:
You will provide attention and quality service to ensure our clients receive
the best care, their safety, comfortable and happiness is our priority.
Minimum Qualifications:
Able to speak, read and write in English
Valid California Driver’s License, reliable car and a clean driving record and a
copy of driving records
Unrestricted access to a cell phone
Ability to pass a background check, drug test and skills assessment
Preferred Qualifications:
Available to work various shifts (eg: morning, midday, nights and overnight stays)
Be available to work various weekend
1+ years of consistent home care aide experience or in a facility
Training/experience with Dementia, Disabilities and Diabetes
Experience in safe transferring techniques
Able and willing to work throughout Monterey County
Duties Include:
Follow a detailed written care plan, chart client notes
Light housekeeping, laundry and errands
Groceries, meal preparation and feeding
Assist with dressing, grooming, walker/wheelchair
Personal care: bathing, toileting and oral care
Transfer from chair or bed and transport/escort to doctor visits, etc.
Follow company policies and work as a team
Must provide copy of CPR certification within the first 90 days from hire date
The Training Manager will oversee the HCA and CNA duties. The Training
Manager will check in at any point without notice at any job site to assure our
clients that we are meeting their expectations. It is important that any concerns or
questions be brought immediately to the Training Manager or Office Manager.
Compensation is based on experience and certifications
