We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in hospitality management.
Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing and organizing daily the Front of the House (FOH) restaurant operations in all phases along with supervising, training, and supporting FOH team with the focus on delivering the best guest dining satisfaction. Restaurant Manager duties and responsibilities:
– Perform open / mid-day / closing procedures.
– Delegate all necessary repair and maintenance issues.
– Make recommendations concerning promotion and disciplinary action affecting team members to the Owner and
Human Resource Director.
– Coach and mentor team members by using training programs and individual development plans to develop employee’s
knowledge and skills.
– Greet all guests in a cordial and timely manner along with responding to guest concerns or complaints to ensure a
positive resolution.
– Adhere to the highest ethical standards by working cooperatively and professionally with all your co-workers this
includes Company’s vendors and guests.
– Maintains brand image of the restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.
Position Qualifications:
– High School Diploma Required or higher.
– Valid California Food Handler card or certificate. We will provide training if not certified.
– Required Valid California Responsible Beverage Service certification. We will provide training if not certified.
– Familiarity with restaurant management software, POS system and OpenTable.
– Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, in the English language and posses’ basic math skills
(add, subtract, multiply, and divide.)
– Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
– Ability to problem solve and handle high-stress situations.
– Must be prepared to multitask in accordance with the demands of the business.
– Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and additional shifts as needed.
