Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to agents, policyholders, and business partners on policy transactions, renewals, inquiries, and information requests
Utilize automated systems to respond to inquiries related to policy coverage, premium billing, payment status, and routine policy coverage
Serve as the primary contact for customer interactions, representing the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction
Process payments, perform billing functions, and support payment processing through RPS machine and lockbox systems
Handle mail processing, including opening, scanning, and preparing documents for vendor scanning
Respond to incoming calls via the ACD system, assess customer needs, complete transactions, and resolve billing or policy inquiries; escalate complex issues when necessary
Accept payments over the phone per billing mandates, verify payment, and substantiate receipt
Document customer interactions, inquiries, and follow-up actions according to Client Services procedures
Process additional transactions and complete tasks to support Client Services department needs
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Strong communication skills with the ability to write and speak grammatically correct English
Basic knowledge of insurance, policy information, and business mathematics
Active listening skills with the ability to verify understanding and express information clearly
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and establish constructive working relationships
Proficiency in operating a personal computer and performing keyboard tasks accurately and efficiently
High school diploma or equivalent
