Sylvan Learning Center
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our Learning Center as a Director of Education. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs and creating personalized learning experiences for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
– Observe and coach instructional staff to maintain Sylvan’s high standards
– Manage parent conferences and communication to drive student success and retention
– Collaborate with the Center Director to set growth targets and manage operations
– Recruit, train, and develop a team of certified teachers
– Monitor student progress and maintain communication with classroom teachers
– Ensure proper administration of assessments and program delivery
Ideal Candidate:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
– Current or expired state/provincial teaching credentials
– 1-2 years of teaching experience; supervisory experience a plus
– Strong knowledge of current educational policies and instructional technology
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
