As a Line Cook/Prep Cook at Woodward Marine Market, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food is prepared and presented to our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen team to execute menu items with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

**Responsibilities:**
– Prepare and portion ingredients for menu items
– Follow recipes and cooking techniques to maintain consistency
– Cook and assemble dishes according to established standards
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth service
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
– Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
– Showing up on time and ready to work

**Qualifications:**
– Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant setting
– Culinary degree or relevant culinary training preferred
– Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
– Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and commitment to food quality
– Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to listen to what is being asked and executing to the Chef’s specifications
– Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
– Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain)
