Position Overview
Olive Valley Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL-A Driver to support transportation operations within the agricultural industry. This role involves hauling product and materials while ensuring timely, safe, and professional deliveries. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in operating Class A commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate CDL-A vehicles in compliance with DOT and company regulations
Transport agricultural products, materials, or equipment as assigned
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport
Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery paperwork, and required documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Assist with yard or operational duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Valid California CDL Class A license
Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate
Clean driving record per company and insurance requirements
Knowledge of DOT safety regulations
Experience in agricultural or produce hauling preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings
Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Frequent climbing in and out of vehicles
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
