Regional Plan Engagement Session (In-Person)

NOTICE OF WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT (WIOA) REGIONAL AND LOCAL PLAN STAKEHOLDER AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
The Monterey County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) announces that it will hold (1) an in-person stakeholder and community engagement session to obtain input on the proposed 2025-28 WIOA Regional Plan for the workforce development boards of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties; (2) a virtual Zoom engagement session for the 2025-28 WIOA Regional Plan; and (3) a virtual Zoom engagement session to obtain input on the proposed 2025-28 WIOA Local Plan.

Regional Plan
The North Central Coast Regional Planning Unit’s Draft Four-Year Regional Plan for 2025-2028 will include the Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito County workforce development areas. This plan will articulate the North Central Coast Region’s efforts to align education, training services, and regional sector needs as required under WIOA.
