Want to help your Monterey County neighbors lead healthier lives? Become a Community Health Worker!

Community Health Workers help community members access critical resources and navigate healthcare and social services systems so they can receive the care they need.

CHWs work in a variety of settings, including health clinics, hospitals, and community health centers.

Program Details: 

• Classes start Thursday, March 19, 2026, and end Saturday, August 29, 2026.
• Online classes are held one evening per week from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on select Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.
• 5-week internship starting July 13, 2026, and ending August 15, 2026.
